A lot of rumors about the iPhone 5 being an extreme gaming console are rumbling around the internet. As this thing goes, a lot of tech geeks are saying that if this is true, then Apple might be planning to engage in a battle against what is considered the “PlayStation Phone” – the Sony Xperia Play.

The rumors about this supposed “battle for mobile gaming” were born out of the leaked information that Apple will install their best (as of the moment) processor and OS on the iPhone 5.

The iPhone 5, or sometimes they call it the iPhone 4S, has been revealed to have the powerful A5 chip that is best for gaming performances ever tested.

Though these rumors are still hearsay, and Apple have been quiet about their next generation iPhone, rage among Xperia and iPhone users are prevalent all over the internet. (more…)

T-mobile has been the leader in Android phones since the first ones showed up in the market. Today is no different the T-mobile myTouch 4G brings design and features to the table that have been updated with what people want in a phone. Not only does it come with a slide out keyboard but the keys have a special design that resemble the “chiclet” design seen in laptops and netbooks today. Other than being a solid phone what is most inviting about this phone is the camera. The different photo modes allow for taking crisp images such as from an SLR is unremarkable; modes such as, action, macro, Clearshot HDR, burstshot and the wide array panoramic mode. All of these modes with zero shutter lag! The myTouch 4G has a 8MP camera with flash perfect to take pictures (or videos in 1080p) during the day and especially at night when you need images with more contrast. Moving away from the hardware side, it is running the latest and greatest 2.3.4 Gingerbread and HTC’s Sense 3.0 UI that flows nicely with the phone.

Now to discuss a little bit about the new HTC 3.0 UI and the new features that are included. Notably the new launcher includes a fresh new 3D feel that incorporates a home screen as well as new transitions that should enhance and provide eye-candy for the user. Another feature included is an instant capture camera that you won’t have to worry about shutter delays when snapping photos. Motorola’s Droid series of smartphones is now firmly established in the market, even though the original Droid was launched as recently as October 2009. Now there is a new Droid, the Bionic, which is scheduled for release around Spring 2011.

In a marketplace dominated by the Apple iPhone and BlackBerry, the Droid was Motorola’s bid to drag itself from the doldrums. Having been associated for too long with competent but boring, business oriented phones, Motorola took a new approach.
