There any many features that stand out on the excellent iPhone 4S but one area that is exceptional is the still camera facility. This improved application offers 8 million pixel resolution together with a high quality sensor that makes it one of the best phone cameras available. This feature can be further enhanced by some excellent additional applications so we take a look at some of the better ones available from the iTunes App Store.
Despite the excellent image quality offered by the built-in camera on the iPhone 4S they facility does not offer as many features as you may find on other rival models. Numerous applications can be downloaded that can rectify this problem and one of the best we have encountered is the superb Camera+. When you have this application installed on the phone there are a number of useful tools that can improve your final results. One of the main attractions of Camera+ is that it enables you to use touch focus on your photograph. This means that rather than the phone focusing on the subject in the centre of the screen you can actually touch the subject where you want the focused fixed.
In addition to performing this task you can also use a second finger on the screen to manually adjust the exposure settings of the camera. This software also offers users automatic image stabilisation and a Burst mode that takes a series a photographs in quick succession which is perfect for fast-moving subjects. This application is not only great when taking a photograph but also after the image has been captured as it has a range of impressive effects that can be applied to improve on the results. Camera+ is the most impressive photography applications that we have encountered for the iPhone and has numerous benefits both before and after your image has been captured.
The iPhone 4S has a number of applications available that add impressive effects to images after they have been photographed and one of the most interesting is the ColorSplash app. This excellent software removes all of the colour from your image which leaves you with a black and white photograph that looks very impressive. This is however where the fun begins as you can reintroduce colours into certain areas of the image. The final result is modern and artistic looking image that looks superb. Another application that comes up with some interesting results is called 360 Panorama. As you may guess from the name this software takes a series a photographs and merges them together to create a single image that contains a 360 degree view of your current surroundings. Similar software to this often requires the user to carefully align each individual image but this version lets you press the button just once and then simply move the phone around to capture a wonderful view of everything around you.
The iPhone 4S camera is one of the very best available and some excellent additional applications further enhance the facility. Camera+ is a superb app and will benefit anybody who wishes to use the camera facility while applications like ColorSplash and 360 Panorama are slightly more specialised but do produce brilliant results.

It is a well known fact that the demand for the latest iPhone 4S has well outstripped supply in many countries with over one million handsets sold in the first 24 hours of its release and a further 3 million over the next 48 hours.
This now seem to be effecting the prices and deals on offer for the iPhone 4S 16GB in both its black and white colour schemes as different retailers and networks have varying stock levels of each model, this is best reflected in the latest news that the black edition iPhone 4S is currently has cheaper deals than those for the iPhone 4S in white.
Although there is not a massive amount between the overall costs of the two colour schemes at £20 over the minimum term contract of 24 months the deals themselves are very different and offer significantly different volumes of inclusive data, minutes and text.
The current cheapest deal for the iPhone 4S in black is offered on the Orange network at £25 per month on a tariff called ‘Orange iPhone 25′, this deal includes 250MB of internet usage, 75 minutes of calls and 125 text messages to use every month and demands an upfront cost of £169.99 for the black iPhone 4S phone. O2 iPhone 4S Deals Finally Launched for Non Existing Customers

The brand new iPhone 4S has now been on sale since the early part of October 2011 but one mobile network has been missing from the portfolio of deals on offer for this latest iPhone.
Up until today, consumers have been able to order iPhone 4S deals on Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile and 3 Mobile but the O2 network took a very different decision with their limited stocks of this latest Apple phone, instead of offering deals to everyone as with the other networks they decided to only offer the new iPhone 4S to their existing customers as an upgrade.
This has been the case since the launch of the iPhone 4S with many disgruntled and mystified consumers unable to understand why they could not order a brand new iPhone on the O2 network, well the day has now come where this has all changed and surprisingly it is not offered directly from the operator. If you take this route, you will be paying an amount of money roughly equal to the value of your used phone, in many cases. A better option may be to simply buy a used iPhone from someone who deals in used phones. Be sure to get a warranty covering parts and labor of at least 10 days, if you do this.
How will find a used iPhone? Your best bet is to search Craigslist. It may be tempting to buy from an individual. If you do, meet them in a very public place with good lighting, such as in front of a police station. A safer option may be to find a reputable iPhone repair shop which has a used iPhone for sale.
